Last weekend I visited my wonderful friend (and photographic muse!) at her place in Point Reyes. Point Reyes is part of West Marin, a short drive over the Golden Gate Bridge, but an entire world away from the city of San Francisco. Last semester when I was finishing grad school my saving grace was visiting V and holing up in a cabin in the woods of West Marin–the quiet peace of the place was just what I needed to finish my business plan.

Now that I’m done with my program, a visit to V’s house is all about relaxing in nature, reading on the couch, and sneaking in a decadent bath in her beautiful bath tub! I’m so thankful to count this amazing woman as a friend.
